The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) works on your behalf to enforce deed restrictions and ensure protection of your property values. We appreciate the community support for the process and procedures necessary to ensure compliance at every level. The deed restrictions, adopted many years ago, and updated in 2012, are relevant for us today in addressing the protection of our property and community.
The ACC is a volunteer Board committee composed of your neighbors with the function of:
- Approving or disapproving plans for all properties, including common areas, per deed restrictions
- Assuring the HOA guidelines for new home construction, renovations, and maintenance are followed.
- The ACC Chair reports at the regularly scheduled Board meetings on pending permits and violations.
- If you plan to do work at your home or lot, a permit is required.
- A permit is required to build, remodel and/or add improvements (i.e. fences, enclosures, storage buildings, patios, decks, septic systems, etc.)
- Become familiar with the deed restrictions that govern your property. A copy of the deed restrictions is available on this site.
STATE-MANDATED REQUIREMENTS
- Effective September 1, 2008, all new home constructions are required to be registered with the state, and inspections are required at each phase of construction
- Only licensed inspectors will be used for home inspections
- New construction requires inspections by state-licensed inspectors.
- Deed Restrictions #3 through #8 outline specific requirements established by the HOA for new constructions and renovations. See the "Deed Restrictions" in this website for detailed information.
- To secure a permit for any work, you need to complete a NEW HOME/REMODELING PERMIT available on this website. The permit must be submitted and approved prior to beginning the work. The ACC acknowledges that they are neighbors serving neighbors. They are grateful for your support and cooperation.
